Major Campaigns/Projects

In pursuit of its objectives, Wildlife First has been actively working on-the-ground in partnership with many conservation organizations, individual conservationists and public spirited lawyers across the country. Constructive collaboration with various Government agencies including the Forest Department over the years has resulted in many timely interventions and fruition of some projects. Here’s a partial list of long-term projects, site based conservation and other campaigns in which Wildlife First has been/was actively involved:

  • Nagarahole - Bandipur Tiger Reserve - 1995 onwards
  • Bhadra Tiger Reserve - 1995 - 2008
  • Kudremukh National Park - 1997 onwards
  • Bramhagiri Sanctuary - 1997 onwards
  • Talacauvery Sanctuary - 1997 onwards
  • Pushpagiri Sanctuary - 1997 onwards
